Driving Test Corruption Failed

Last week I wrote about corruption in the driving test industry. Today I'm going to write about a failed attempt to bribe an examiner. In Britain, apparently, there are much more honest.

Jin Su took her fifth driving test recently, and she desperately wanted to pass. She handed the examiner a red envelope which contained about 400 or 500 Pounds, hoping this will help her to pass. The examiner refused, and she attacked him.

Hopefully these incidents will never happen again. And if they do, I hope all examiners will be honest enough to refuse like this one.

Cheap Auto Insurance for Teenage Boys

Teenage boys are in the category for the most expensive car insurance for those who haven't had any accidents. Here is an article by Sher Matsen about this issue.

Get Cheap Auto Insurance For Your Teen Son

Your son has just obtained his license and with that a new found sense of freedom. Now you ask how to get cheap auto insurance for my son? Car insurances can vary dramatically in price so read on to learn how to buy car insurance that is affordable for your teen drivers.

Because teens lack driving experience insurers consider them a high risk to insure and thus the premiums assigned are much higher than an adults insurance rates would be. There are a few things you can do to help reduce the rates you pay for your teen drivers.

First you need to stress to them how important it is for them to keep a clean driving record. That means driving safely - no speeding tickets, no traffic violations, and no accidents. Over a period of time there safe driving will be rewarded with lower premiums.

You can also reduce their rates by purchasing insurance with a higher deductible. The higher the deductible is the lower the premium is.

If you are going to be purchasing a vehicle for your teen choose a vehicle that is built well with extra safety features, and do not choose a vehicle that falls into a sports class or higher risk rating class. Be sure to check the class the vehicle falls into.

The graduated licensing laws have come into effect in most states in the USA and some provinces in Canada. The rules will vary from one location to another but the basic underlying philosophy is to restrict new drivers by limiting what their license will allow them to do.

They may be issued a full auto license such as a class 5 but there is usually a letter designation behind it to indicate they are a new driver. These new drivers have nighttime driving restrictions, vehicle occupant restrictions, and a 0 alcohol tolerance restriction to name just a few. They will also be required to take an additional test after a specific period of time to remove them from the new driver programmer.

But you're still wondering where to get cheap auto insurance for my son? Teenage drivers can dramatically reduce the cost of insurance by purchasing a stand alone policy from an agency that specializes in providing teen insurance. A stand alone policy means they are not added as an additional driver on your insurance but rather carry their own insurance.

These insurance companies reduce their risk for insuring teens by placing certain concessions on the driving habits of them. They may require driving school, no driving after dark, or various other restrictions which allow them to keep the premiums lower for teen drivers.

The statistics for teen drivers aren't good. A 16 year old driver is 10 times more likely to get into an accident than an adult between the ages of 30 and 59, so you can see why insurance companies are hesitant to provide good rates.

The best thing you can do for your teenager and his or her insurance rates is to teach responsibility and make them accountable. Make them earn your trust for the use of the car, and make them accountable to pay at least a portion of their insurance premiums. They can do this by working a part time job which also breeds maturity, so it's a win-win all the way.

You and your teenager are thrilled with the new found freedom for both of you. So now you need to do your homework and research teen insurance rates so you can get them on the road. What are you waiting for?

Hell of a Hail

We're still in March, and it's still winter. A proof to that can be found in a drive I had yesterday, when all of the sudden it started hailing. Heavily.

Well, it wasn't that heavy. Nothing broke. It was still scary, though. I was standing at a traffic light, looking at the rain. Suddenly I started hearing loud knocking noises on the windshield, and then I realized it's not rain. It's ice.

Luckily for me, the road wasn't covered with it, so I could still drive somehow. But the feeling of being bombarded with little ice balls is not very nice.

Have a great weekend!

What to Focus on for the Test

The driving test is a very frightening situation with many details to pay attention to. Here is an article I wrote about dealing with all this information and what to focus on.

What to Pay Attention to During a Driving Test

People usually think that it is very easy to learn driving but they do not know that it is not as simple as it looks. Learning driving is not just about learning how to drive a car but it also involves the security measures that have to be taken while driving. Learning driving also includes knowledge about traffic rules and road signboards. It is very important for a driver to have all the above-mentioned things, moreover when you go for a practical test you will be failed if you would not have all this knowledge.

It is very vital for one to have a detailed knowledge about safety precautions because it will not only make you and your family safe but it will make other people safe. The government makes sure that they only issue license to those who have complete knowledge about safety precautions and their importance. Some of the basic safety precautions include checking vipers, headlights, indicators and mirrors.

Road signs are also play a very vital role in making roads safe. People who do not know about these road signs usually remain unaware of any warnings and this can be very deadly for you as well as others. For instance if there is a dangerous turning warning and the driver does not get this warning, it might cause a life threatening accident. Knowledge about traffic rules or traffic sense is also a primary necessity for a driver. It includes that whose right is first to cross and which lane you must be in if you want to turn or go straight and which way to go in a roundabout and many other similar things.

Apart from all these when you go for a road test you also get to face an emergency where your car does not work properly and your objective is to save yourself as well as others. This test is usually conducted on a simulator. Some people think that they can easily pass the government's driving test without any preparation but they ultimately end up getting their test fee wasted by being failed in the test. Therefore, it is very important that you should prepare well before appearing in the exam. Some people believe that the handbooks provided by government are delivering enough knowledge to pass a driving test but they are wrong because you need to have some more practical knowledge to pass a driving test. Best way to get prepared for a driving test is to get prepared through a driving test guide.

You can easily avoid failure in a driving test by going through any popular driving test guide.

Hopefully this article helped you,

Driving Test Corruption

Driving tests were always prone to corruption. A little envelope in the examiner's hand will guarantee your license, and if you want to be honest, your examiner will honestly fail you. Luckily, devloped countries don't suffer much from this, but other countries, like Trinidad and Tobago, can't grant licenses until the students give a "little change".

Vashti Bowlah wrote about this in the link at the beginning of the post, and it's truly sad. People who can't drive sit behind the wheel because they had some money in their pocket. Those who can fail time after time because they tried to be honest.

The government there needs to take the situation under control, or the number of road fatalities will rise. Corruption must be stopped.

First, I have a certain budget. Car taxes here are crazy (100%! Can you believe?), so I'm automatically limited to relatively old cars or ones with high mileage. When I do find a good one, the seller is never home or the car was taken by his children.

Hopefully I'll find my car soon. I really want one. It'll make my life much easier. After all, I promised myself that this is the year of the car.

Don't Worry About the Test

Today is that special day of the year - my birthday. It's the fourth one I celebrate here on this blog, and I'm not becoming younger. However, my driving experience keeps growing. Here is an article I wrote about lessening worries when it comes to the test.

How To Pass Your Driving Test Without Worrying

If you are among the people who really want to pass their driving tests, then let me inform you that you are in the right place. Nevertheless, before we begin, I would like to inform you that there is really no big "secret" to getting your driving license. For this reason, I would like to inform you that you are not going to find any secret here. All the same, it is important to note that passing your driving tests will require you to have a mindset which will ensure that you will not worry at all. If you can mange to sit for the test without any worries after having adequately prepared yourself, then you can be sure that you will get the license fast. Here, I would like to discuss three things that will help you pass your test:

Be Prepared

If there is one thing that will guarantee your passing the test, it is the issue of preparedness. If you are prepared, then you will not start panicking when the day of the exam arrives. On the other hand, if at all you do not prepare well, you can be sure that you will really be panicking when others will be excited about the exam.

Be Early

Being late for the exam is one thing that does create a lot of anxiety amongst students. If you want to make sure that you do not arrive at the venue of the exam when you are confused and anxious, it is advisable that you do your things early enough so that you do not end up being disappointed. Being early also ensures that you wade of any tensions or anxieties that might come because of thinking about taking the test.

Study All Areas

Studying all the areas - both the practical and the theory parts is an extremely important thing that anyone one who wants to pass his or her driving test must do. Some people do think that it is actually possible for them to study only certain areas of the syllabus and still get away with it. Indeed, you may be shocked to find that everything that you learned never came in the test, while everything that you did not learn came. So, if you make the mistake of guessing where the exams might come from and then focusing on those areas where you think the test might come from, you will definitely be disappointed.

If you are really serious in your desire to pass your driving test, then I would advice you to do more than the average student. The driving test guide is a good manual to see you through the whole program.

Hopefully this birthday article helped you.

Sometimes a local DMV can go too far when it comes to the element of surprise in tests. Driving instructors in Ottawa were sent a notice that told them to stop practicing near the driving test center.

This move angered the instructors, since they are the only ones banned from there. Other people, like those who practice with a guide, can drive there freely and learn the path of the DMV. Only those who pay to learn are forbidden from driving there.

Hopefully the local driving test center will remove this ban soon, so students will be able to practice there again.

Finding the Best Auto Insurance

When you want an insurance quote, you will get many offers from many companies. But how can you know which one is the best? Here is another article by Sarah Anne Miller that will help you decide.

Best Automobile Insurance Companies - How Can You Tell The Best From The Rest

Just what are the qualities that make for the best automobile insurance companies? The answer to this question could mean the difference between a decent quote or a bad quote, but it could also mean the difference between good coverage and bad coverage. This article will reveal the things that make an insurance provider, worthy of being called the best. And after reading you'll be able to make a better choices when looking to insure your automobile...

Insurance Is Accessible - No Expensive Upfront Fees
The best automobile insurance companies will strive to make insurance accessible and won't go overboard when setting policy rates. Insurance policies as you may well know are based on several variables, but there is a standard element to any policy. This is the element that you should pay close attention to. If it's too high stay away from he company; no matter how much they claim to be the best.

Sound Payout Record
It is often said that insurance companies make every effort NOT to payout in the event of an accident, and if the infomercials are to be believed then finding an insurance company that has a decent payout record is super important. It isn't too difficult to spot a company with a poor record of payout. The Better Business Bureau and other consumer watchdog organizations usually have ample data on the poorer performing companies.

The payout record of a company should also inform your decision about the type of coverage you take out. Typically, the better the payout record, the greater the coverage you can take out. And since the better the coverage the higher the premium, you simply cannot afford to make any mistakes in this department.

Reasonable Deductible Percentage
The deductible percentage represents the amount that you'll have to fund in the event of an accident. It varies from provider to provider, but your goal should be to select the provider with the lowest percentage. This percentage can always be increased by you later on, should you decide to use it as cost saving measure on the overall quote itself.

The pointers outlined above represent the best criteria for identifying the best automobile insurance companies. The list of course isn't exhaustive, but is a sound enough to enable you to make a decent choice. Additionally, you can increase your chances of getting a good quote and good coverage by choosing an online company. In fact, an online company will allow for even greater cost saving since they're usually cheaper than their offline counterparts.

How to Find The Best Automobile Insurance Companies in 5 Minutes or Less:
CLICK HERE for my top 3 recommendations on cheap car insurance quote providers. Within 5 minutes or less, you'll receive multiple quotes from several national and local providers. Best of all, it's completely FREE, with absolutely no obligation whatsoever.

No need to wish you luck...it's fast and easy to get cheap automobile insurance rates!

The Reverse Physics of Traffic

Everyone who ever learned basic physics at school knows that matter flows from high density to lower density, until an equilibrium is achieved (and in simpler words: a balance of densities on both sides). However, it seems like there are some phenomena in the world that ignore that rule. Road traffic, for example.

When the road is clear, you never see this happen. But when traffic is congested, you can see that cars go from a low density to very high density, and get stuck there. Reverse physics.

Luckily, cars follow all other laws of physics, so we can drive safely. Once they start violating those laws, we'll have a serious problem.

Learning to Drive With a Guide

Driving is a skill that must be mastered in order to pass a test. However, it's not always easy to learn. Here is an article that will give you some tips about getting the most out of your driving time.

Learn How To Drive And Pass Your Driving Test Quickly

If you ask people how their driving test went, each one of those people that you would have asked will come to you with very different stories. Some will tell you that their experience was very hard in that they met examiners who would simply deny the license. On the other hand, you will find others who will tell you that despite the fact that they made some very silly blunders during their tests. They managed to get their driving licenses. Indeed, the responses ca be more varying that. However, one thing that I would like you to keep in your mind is that fact that you should not have hope in your strategy; you should not fail to prepare well with the hope of getting some extremely sympathetic examiner who will give you a pass despite the fact that you will make some very silly mistakes.

I would like to look at three tips in brief so that you can know how you can quickly learn how to drive and get you the driving license very fast.

Revise, Revise, Revise

This goes for both the practical and the theoretical exams. Try to ensure that you look at all the possible scenarios that may arise during the test. Apart from reading the theory to the extent that you have everything at your finger tips, it is important to ensure that you also drive on various types of roads. This way, you will get to learn all that you need to learn, increasing your chances of getting the license by a very high margin.

Maintain Your Cool

The other thing that you need to do when you are trying to get your driving license is to maintain your cool. If you fail to do this during the day of the test, you are likely to panic a great deal, something that will end up doing you more harm than good. If you are too anxious and not composed, you will find that you will easily make some blunders which are really not worth your time.

Be Confident

On the day of the test, ensure that you are extremely confident and that you do not make the mistake of relying on rumors, you can easily get discouraged and even fail to take the driving test. This is because people will always try to make it sound as if passing the test is extremely difficult and only the gifted few are able to do it.

If you are really serious in your desire to pass your driving test, then I would advice you to do more than the average student. The driving test guide is a good manual to see you through the whole program.

I hope this article will help you pass your test on the first try, or at least on your next try.

Good luck!

How to Achieve Cheap Auto Insurance

Like I write here every Monday, auto insurance is a big expense for most car owners, but it can be reduced. Here is an article by Henry Chukwueke that will explain how to cut this cost and get a cheap insurance.

Cost Savings Measures Towards Cheap Auto Insurance

Auto insurance has become necessary because, it is now mandatory in almost all the states in America. With the ever increasing personal and family responsibilities, auto drivers are faced with a decision of, how to get the best policy that fits them, and to cut cost on their car insurance without cutting corners.

There are several tried and true ways, that car owners can reduce monthly premium checks.

One of them is consolidating your insurance purchase. Consolidating insurance is when you buy two or more insurance needs from one source. Buying your home, car, health or life insurance from one provider often qualifies you for a discount.

Another factor is comparing quotes of two or more insurance providers, and choosing the best deal that fits into your pocket. That's the power of choice.

Some other factors considered are your

Sex-females are likely high risk compared to men.

Age-younger people are high risk compared to older people.

Marital status-unmarried people are likely high risk than the married people.

Mileage-the distance covers by your car daily can influence the premium upward.
One's psychological and mental well being, can influence premium

How safe the route a car plies, can be another factor of upward or downward premium. Areas associated with high rate of theft and vandalism will influence the premium upward.

One's driving, or credit record can also influence the premium. A driver who has high rate of negative driving, or credit record is likely to pay more than the person with positives in these area.

All these are likely factors that will help you take a decision.

Therefore, before you renew or purchase new auto insurance, use a reliable website to compare quotes. It's free, fast and easy.

Three Terrible Mistakes to Avoid

When taking the driving test, there are many things you should never do. However, some are more serious than others. Here is an article I wrote about three things that should never be done.

Passing Your Driving Test - Three Things To Avoid

There are many people who desire to pass their driving tests the first time they sit for it. However, this is not the usual case. You will find that there are many times where potentially successful candidates just go and mess up the whole thing. This is a very unfortunate thing as it will mean that the person who failed the test must go again to prepare himself or herself for the test before going back for it. It will definitely mean that this person will be forced to spend more resources in form of time and money. Today, we are going to look at three things that you should avoid if you really want to pass your driving test.

Drunkenness

If you are a person who always has to drink some alcoholic beverage before you do something, then you need to ensure that you do not drink on the day of sitting for the exams. In fact, you should not even drink the day before you go for the test. The reason for this is that you will not be in the right state of mind by the time you will be arriving for the test. The moment the examiner takes note of this, you can be sure that your goal of passing the driving test will be lost for a very long time.

Lateness

The second thing that you should avoid at all cost is coming late for the test. If you commit this mistake, you will realize that even the examiners will know that you do not take the whole thing seriously. If they realize that this is the case, they will not be very willing to work with you at all. It is therefore extremely important to ensure that you do not arrive late for your test.

Being Unprepared

The third thing that must be a no-no is arriving for the test when you are completely unprepared. The reason why this is the case is because even when you will take the test, you will definitely fail. You need to make sure that when you go to sit for your test, you are extremely prepared and that you should not allow anything to be a distraction to you at all.

Whether it is drunkenness lateness or simply being unprepared, it is important that you do not allow anything to be distraction to you. You should not allow anything to come between you and your goal of getting the driving test.

If you are really serious in your desire to pass your driving test, then I would advice you to do more than the average student. The driving test guide is a good manual to see you through the whole program.

She has multiple charges now, and I doubt she will have her license soon.
