How to Achieve Cheap Auto Insurance

Like I write here every Monday, auto insurance is a big expense for most car owners, but it can be reduced. Here is an article by Henry Chukwueke that will explain how to cut this cost and get a cheap insurance.

Cost Savings Measures Towards Cheap Auto Insurance

Auto insurance has become necessary because, it is now mandatory in almost all the states in America. With the ever increasing personal and family responsibilities, auto drivers are faced with a decision of, how to get the best policy that fits them, and to cut cost on their car insurance without cutting corners.

There are several tried and true ways, that car owners can reduce monthly premium checks.

One of them is consolidating your insurance purchase. Consolidating insurance is when you buy two or more insurance needs from one source. Buying your home, car, health or life insurance from one provider often qualifies you for a discount.

Another factor is comparing quotes of two or more insurance providers, and choosing the best deal that fits into your pocket. That's the power of choice.

Some other factors considered are your

Sex-females are likely high risk compared to men.

Age-younger people are high risk compared to older people.

Marital status-unmarried people are likely high risk than the married people.

Mileage-the distance covers by your car daily can influence the premium upward.
One's psychological and mental well being, can influence premium

How safe the route a car plies, can be another factor of upward or downward premium. Areas associated with high rate of theft and vandalism will influence the premium upward.

One's driving, or credit record can also influence the premium. A driver who has high rate of negative driving, or credit record is likely to pay more than the person with positives in these area.

All these are likely factors that will help you take a decision.

Therefore, before you renew or purchase new auto insurance, use a reliable website to compare quotes. It's free, fast and easy.

Checking Battery Cables

Your car's battery is what gives the car the ability to start. Without it, your car is as good as a rock. To make sure the battery will work when you need it, it's important to check its cables for corrosion. Here is a video that will show you how.

Hopefully this video will help you maintain your car.

Windy and Winding

Wind is a force of nature that makes it pretty hard to drive in some situation. When driving on a highway it's fine, but when going on a winding mountain road, it becomes pretty hard to drive. Or see anything.

Yes, that's what I did today. I drove to a mountain when it started raining, and then the road became winding and the wind became strong. Rain and wind are never a good combination for drivers, and I felt that it was pretty difficult to drive in those conditions.

Hopefully the weather will become better next week.

Three Terrible Mistakes to Avoid

When taking the driving test, there are many things you should never do. However, some are more serious than others. Here is an article I wrote about three things that should never be done.

Passing Your Driving Test - Three Things To Avoid

There are many people who desire to pass their driving tests the first time they sit for it. However, this is not the usual case. You will find that there are many times where potentially successful candidates just go and mess up the whole thing. This is a very unfortunate thing as it will mean that the person who failed the test must go again to prepare himself or herself for the test before going back for it. It will definitely mean that this person will be forced to spend more resources in form of time and money. Today, we are going to look at three things that you should avoid if you really want to pass your driving test.

Drunkenness

If you are a person who always has to drink some alcoholic beverage before you do something, then you need to ensure that you do not drink on the day of sitting for the exams. In fact, you should not even drink the day before you go for the test. The reason for this is that you will not be in the right state of mind by the time you will be arriving for the test. The moment the examiner takes note of this, you can be sure that your goal of passing the driving test will be lost for a very long time.

Lateness

The second thing that you should avoid at all cost is coming late for the test. If you commit this mistake, you will realize that even the examiners will know that you do not take the whole thing seriously. If they realize that this is the case, they will not be very willing to work with you at all. It is therefore extremely important to ensure that you do not arrive late for your test.

Being Unprepared

The third thing that must be a no-no is arriving for the test when you are completely unprepared. The reason why this is the case is because even when you will take the test, you will definitely fail. You need to make sure that when you go to sit for your test, you are extremely prepared and that you should not allow anything to be a distraction to you at all.

Whether it is drunkenness lateness or simply being unprepared, it is important that you do not allow anything to be distraction to you. You should not allow anything to come between you and your goal of getting the driving test.

If you are really serious in your desire to pass your driving test, then I would advice you to do more than the average student. The driving test guide is a good manual to see you through the whole program.

Hopefully this article helped you,

First Time Driving: Annabelle

Slowly and carefully, that's how Annabelle drove for the first time. The video is pretty mute, but you can see the concentration on her face.

This video is from two weeks ago, so Annabelle still has a long way to go. She did pretty well this time, so I think the test won't be a huge problem for her.

Good luck!

Speeding to the Test

March, the best month of the year, starts today, and we're celebrating it with a story that can be either funny or sad, you decide.

A Canadian 31-year-old woman was on her way to the driving test. She wanted to get there fast, so she drove 101 km/h, while the legal speed in the area is 80 km/h. Also, she was alone when she's supposed to have a licensed driver with her.

She has multiple charges now, and I doubt she will have her license soon.

Don't be stuipid please,
