With gasoline prices going up by the second, the only good replacement now is natural gas. Here is an article from Yahoo Finance about a green transportation conference.
I personally don't really like all this green hype. Natural gas pollutes too, and until scientists can make electricity with cold fusion, there won't be a really clean energy solution (the cleanest so far is nuclear power).
