Another Money for License Attempt

Once again, a woman tries to offer an examiner money for a passing score. This time it happened in Akron, and the woman offered $90.

I don't know how much examiners make, but $90 sounds like an insulting number. In Israel, two examiners were recently arrested because they are suspected of taking bribes of $260 (much more impressive).

Bribe Her Way to Jail

In some countries, it's enough to give a little cash bundle to the driving examiner to pass the test. However, in the US it doesn't work like that. A 26-year-old woman was charged with bribery after trying to give the examiner $90 to give her a passing score.

The examiner was honest and turned her in. If she's convicted, the woman can face up to five years in jail and up to $10,000 fine. Definitely not worth it for a little driving test.

You need to practice in order to pass. Money will not get you anywhere.

Connecticut DMV Corruption - Another Arrest

The Insurance Journal reported another arrest in the Connecticut DMV scandal. According to the report, Angel Cabrera was the middleman in all those illegal deals, and she was charged with forgery, bribery, and witness tampering.

Angel is suspected to give driver's licenses without the need to pass any test. How? Simple. Bribery. Pay money, get a license.

May all the people involved be arrested soon.
