The Most Important Lane Change Tip of All Time

Some drivers have no sense of the road. They don't know how to handle traffic, handle a good speed, and generally drive well. But one of the most annoying kinds is the kind that doesn't know how to change lanes well.

Today I was taking my usual Saturday drive. I was on the right lane, and someone was on the left. The one on the left wanted to change lanes to the right. He signaled and slowed down from an already slow speed. Even when there was enough distance to change, he didn't change. He slowed down.

This weird situation continued for half a minute until I decided that it's annoying and passed him. However, we can all learn the most important lane change tip of all time:

When you change lanes, ACCELERATE!

You must fit in with other traffic, and if you brake, you will NOT fit in (unless you are driving faster than the other lane, which is unlikely, and then you brake). So easy, so simple, so many people don't do this well.
