Driving Test Corruption Failed

Last week I wrote about corruption in the driving test industry. Today I'm going to write about a failed attempt to bribe an examiner. In Britain, apparently, there are much more honest.

Jin Su took her fifth driving test recently, and she desperately wanted to pass. She handed the examiner a red envelope which contained about 400 or 500 Pounds, hoping this will help her to pass. The examiner refused, and she attacked him.

Hopefully these incidents will never happen again. And if they do, I hope all examiners will be honest enough to refuse like this one.

Driving Test Corruption

Driving tests were always prone to corruption. A little envelope in the examiner's hand will guarantee your license, and if you want to be honest, your examiner will honestly fail you. Luckily, devloped countries don't suffer much from this, but other countries, like Trinidad and Tobago, can't grant licenses until the students give a "little change".

Vashti Bowlah wrote about this in the link at the beginning of the post, and it's truly sad. People who can't drive sit behind the wheel because they had some money in their pocket. Those who can fail time after time because they tried to be honest.

The government there needs to take the situation under control, or the number of road fatalities will rise. Corruption must be stopped.
