Some people don't test well. For example, a woman in Britain took her theory test 110 times(!). At £31 per test, these sums add up quickly to thousands of pounds.

Actually, it's still not known if the woman actually passed the 110th test. We're all crossing fingers for that, and also hoping that her actual driving will be better than her test-taking skills.

A Year's Practice

British drivers-to-be, beware: the Association of British Insurers wants you to learn how to drive for a whole year.

The association found that an 18-year-old driver is three times more likely to be involved in an accident than a 30-year-old driver. In my opinion, they forget one simple fact: it's because of experience.

Experience is gained through practice. The driving lessons are all about practice, but they are much more expensive than just taking a car and driving. Raising the cost of practice will enable much less people to have a license.
