Starting January (well, eleven days ago), getting a license in India will become a little more challenging. Why? Because, the RTO, Regional Transport Office, is now conducting simulator tests.
The purpose of these simulators is to test the driving skills of people who apply for the test. The simulator will have real life scenarios, like rain or bad roads. The performance at these tests will help to determine the result of the driving test.
Good luck to everyone who needs to go through this step as well. At least it will filter out the really bad drivers.
