The Opposite Way

Last week I was driving around, and I saw something incredible: a woman was driving on my side of the road. The area had a separated road with very clear arrows pointing to the right direction, but she chose the left lane instead of the right and drove on what's clearly the wrong side.

Fortunately, she discovered her mistake and started backing up while other drivers also noticed her, so no one was harmed, maybe except her self esteem.

Hopefully people will know how to drive tomorrow.

Left Lane Forever

Once again, I had to deal with the issue of left lane hogs. This thing just drives me insane. Some people should just be banned from driving on the left lane.

If a road's speed is 110 km/h and it's possible to go that fast, all traffic should be going at least that speed. I really can't understand why someone would drive slower with a private car.

I hope this will not happen to me next week, although it's hard to predict. It's always good to hope.

The Two Car Rule

Today I want to talk about something that really irritates me and teach you a valuable rule along the way. This is one of the most important driving rules of all time.

The two car rule says this: if one car passes you from the right, you may be driving too slowly. If two cars pass you from the right, change lanes, you're delaying traffic. Simple and elegant rule.

Too many people don't know about this rule, and this causes them to drive slowly on the left lane, which is the fast lane. With some more traffic IQ the would have realized that choosing the right lane is not a shame, it's the right thing to do.

Have a great weekend!

The Unpassable

Roads which have two lanes going in each direction are great in theory. You drive most of the time on the right, and when you need to pass you can do so rather safely. However, some drivers make this really difficult.

One of the most annoying habits drivers have is driving slow on the left lane near another slow-moving car. The result is an unpassable block that prevents drivers from passing and driving at a normal speed. I get nearly insane when I see those things happen.

Hopefully something will be done about those drivers.

Have a great weekend,
