Seven Stpes for Passing

It's another beautiful Friday, which is the perfect time for some driving test tips. Here they are.

Hoping to Pass Your Driver’s Test? Here Are 7 Steps to Help You Prepare

Having your driver's license will give you plenty of freedom. You can go just about anywhere you want, just as long as you have enough gas money. You can go out on the road and explore!

In order to have that luxury, though, you must pass a driving test. There is a written test AND a road examination you need to pass. The written test is easier since it's multiple choice (in most places). There are practice questions online to help you prepare.

The road exam, however, isn't so easy. It's more than just driving around for a few minutes. It's about proving that you are a good, learned driver. You must prove - and show - that you understand the rules of the road.

Here are the steps you need to take in order to prepare for your driving test.

1. Practice as much as you can on a relatively empty road. Try to find an old country road somewhere and practice driving on it every day. You'll need a good, responsible driver with you to help you.

2. Once you get the hang of driving on a small road, venture out onto a highway. Ideally, you should practice when traffic is slow. You don't want your first time driving on a highway to be during rush hour.

3. Read everything you can find on driving on the internet. There are ebooks, practice tests, tips, guides, etc. Watch videos on how to drive safely.

4. Find out where the test routes are going to be. You might be able to find some maps online. There are around 10 or so routes per test center. Practice driving all around the test area. Get to know the streets and the routes like the back of your hand.

5. Determine your weaknesses and work on improving them. If you have trouble with parallel parking, go to an empty parking lot and put down large boxes. Practice parking in between them. If you suffer from anxiety when driving on busy roads, learn how to stay calm. You can find relaxation techniques for new drivers online.

6. Don't forget the small, but important things like occasionally checking the rearview mirror and using your indicator when needed. While you're at it, don't forget to come to a full stop at red lights and stop signs.

7. The night before the test, try to get as much sleep as possible. Eat a big breakfast in the morning. Do whatever you can to keep yourself calm: yoga, breathing exercise, meditation, etc. Try to be confident in yourself. As long as you practiced every chance you got, you shouldn't feel too nervous.

Good luck!

You can learn just about everything there is to know online. Just read the secrets and details that aren't found in your basic study guide. There are online driving courses to help you learn how to drive safely as well.
