British drivers-to-be, beware: the Association of British Insurers wants you to learn how to drive for a whole year.
The association found that an 18-year-old driver is three times more likely to be involved in an accident than a 30-year-old driver. In my opinion, they forget one simple fact: it's because of experience.
Experience is gained through practice. The driving lessons are all about practice, but they are much more expensive than just taking a car and driving. Raising the cost of practice will enable much less people to have a license.
Hopefully the British authorities will be smart here,
