A recent study conducted in the University of Michigan discovered that a large number of young adults never got a driver's license because their parents are driving them everywhere.
For me it's just the opposite. My parents counted the days until I could actually drive myself, and very soon after I got my license I was sent for errands. They know the roads are scary, but my freedom is much more important.
