New Learning Rules in Ireland

Ireland is giving a overhaul to its driving rules. From now on, a learner driver will have to keep a logbook of lessons and have 12 hours of tuition before being able to apply for the practical test.

The Road Safety Agency (Ireland's DMV) says this move is meant to make roads safer, as it requires applicants to actually take lessons and be prepared. Hopefully this is what will help to make the roads a little safer.
