The entrance intersection to my town has a traffic light for many years. Until now, one side of it had two lanes turning left and one lane going forward. The funny thing about it was that there is a freeway in the other side of the intersection, the one with one lane.
Three weeks ago, a miracle happened. The geniuses at the Public Works Department finally came to their senses and changed the traffic light so the middle lane is now also a straight lane. Now there are two left turn lanes and two forward lanes.
Government owned infrastructure can be really bad sometimes.
