Banning Learners from the Streets

The Surrey Comet reports that the residents of Surbiton want learner drivers out of their streets. Why? They disturb them, they are slow (well, they're learners), and generally annoying.

The angry residents already compiled a list of 24 instructors who go through their streets, and soon they will ask those instructors to sign a "code of conduct", so their life can be a little more quiet.

However, the residents fail to see the other side of their complaint. Quiet streets are the perfect place to practice driving. Busy avenues are not a great place to practice three-point turns, and the residents should really understand it.

Hopefully they'll come to an agreement and everything will work out fine.
