"No Refusal" Operation is a Go

The law enforcement on Harrison County, Texas participated in a "No Refusal" drunk driving campaign two weeks ago, on the 4th of July weekend. The idea behind it is to lower the number of drunk drivers.

The procedure is very simple: if an officer suspects that a driver is drunk, he may obtain a search warrant that will force people to take a blood test. Hence the name, "No Refusal".

Right now, a driver may refuse to take a breath or blood test. However, during this operation, the officers used warrants to force people to take those tests.

Be careful when you drive there, and never, NEVER, drink and drive.
