11% Don't Think They'll Pass

A recent survey in Britain shows that 11% of motorists think they will not pass their test if they have to retake it now. Younger people tend to be less confident in their ability to pass, even though their test was only recently.

If the tests were actually taken, I think the failure rate has been much greater. Examiners look for many details that learner drivers practice for. After driving for a while most people just ignore these details and drive how they feel like.

Hopefully people will gain more confidence this year. We need confidence on the road. Not too much, but definitely not too little.
