Eighteen months ago I made the largest purchase in my life: my car. It wasn't cheap because of the super-high taxes here, but it was worth it. Every last penny of it.
Since the mass transit system here is a disaster, having a car made my life much simpler. I never had to plan according to bus or train schedules, never had to compromise and never had any trouble getting anywhere.
This blog focuses mainly on getting a license, which is important. But after that, it's also important to have a car and drive. This amazing feeling of freedom is priceless.
