The electric car has been around for a while, but only ten days ago a British teen passed his driving test on such car.
I am not a big fan of electric cars myself because they usually need to be recharged often (and usually more expensive as well), but it's good to see that some driving schools are starting to use them. Maybe this will help this industry move forward.
