Re-Failing the Written Test

It's unbelieveable, but 20% of licensed Americans would fail their written test if they had to take it today. Yes, it's sad. Yes, it's bad. Yes, they're driving right now near you. Yes, it's the driver who stopped right in the middle of the intersection.

The GMAC Insurance National Drivers Test found those results in its fifth annual survey. The results of 2008 or 2007 are also on this blog somewhere, and they're not as great either. Apparently drivers are not improving.

Georgia kept its 47th position, Idaho and Wisconsin are tied for first place (congratulations!), and New York drivers seem to be the worst. I need to remember to avoid going to New York any time soon.

Good luck next year!
