A UK Re-Test

easier.com reports about a driving test conducted by the British Which? Car. Five drivers were asked to re-take their driving test. It may not be such a great indicator of the British driving, but three of them failed.

In order to pass, drivers needed to have 15 or less "standard" faults and zero serious faults. The two who passed had many standard faults (9 and 11), and the ones who failed either had a few standard faults but had serious ones, or just had many standard faults.

However, Which? Car can be relaxed. Claire Evans, the deputy editor, passed the test with only nine faults. She had the best result out of all drivers.

Does this mean driving becomes worse after passing the test? Not necessarily. Some of the faults can be pretty petty, so older drivers ignore them. However, not checking blind spots is a problem many drivers share, and this habit should be eliminated.
