Driving Test Tips to Pass the Exam

Passing the driving test is the only option to getting a valid driving license. The road and transport department specifies the types of test which consists of a series of theoretical and on the road test to gauge the students ability drive safe and not pose danger to others while on the road. Theoretical test includes lectures on basic rules and regulation of in that country, road signs recognition, and basic car maintenance knowledge. On the road test is aimed at testing student's ability to follow traffic rules, gauge student's reaction at any circumstances and ability to handle the car well.

Test specification may differ from one country to another. Following are various tests which all students must pass before being able to drive here legally.

Firstly, students must attend a five hours road safety course conducted by in house trainer from road and transport department. Here, all students are expected to learn about basic traffic rules and being able to identify all traffic signage. A booklet pertaining all subject matters will be handed out to students for reference.

After that, a written test ensues. There are forty five objectives questions only and students are only allowed a maximum of four mistakes to pass it. Therefore, a throughout reading and understanding of the booklet is utmost necessary. This test must be passed before student is allowed to proceed.

Next is the road test which requires all students to take certain hours of lessons. Training instructor will guide you through an open road test and a series uphill downhill driving, three point turns, and reverse parking. The car comes only with manual transmission therefore it required some getting used to.

A test ensues after completion of the training. The course of the test is similar to the ones used for the training. Therefore students must be well versed with the course layout and the vehicle especially the transmission before proceeding to take this final test.
Upon completion of all the tests, a driving license will be issued.
