Want to Pass? Know Where to Live

What's your chance of passing the driving test in Ireland? Of course, if you are well prepared, you will probably pass, but statistics never lies. The overall passing rate is 51.8% (that's it!). However, this is not even close to the actual rates of specific RSA offices.

The Rathgar office in Dublin has the worst passing rates in Ireland. Only 30.6% of the people taking their test there pass, probably because of a tricky test route.

However, if you take the test in Sligo, your chances are more than doubled: 67.1%. This difference is, once again, due to the test route. An urban test is much more difficult. It's harder to handle city traffic during rush hour, and much easier to handle quiet areas with little traffic.

If you have a driving test guide, your chances will increase regardless of your test office. Try it.
