Insurance and Registration Renewal

After almost a year of car ownership, it's time to pay the price, and it's a heavy one. This week I had to renew my car registration and my insurance, both for very big sums of money.

The insurance agent was very nice on the phone and took the same price as last year, so I took the offer. It was also recommended to me by my family, so I didn't argue.

Registration renewal is pure theft by the government, but I cannot drive without it so I had to stand in line in the post office. Now I'm clear until next April, when I'll also have to take my car to a garage for a yearly test. Maybe I'll be able to afford a new car and skip this requirement...
