The 58 Year Wait

In 1954, a UK woman named Valerie Christie reached the age of 16. She was very excited - she was finally at the right age to get a driver's license. She took some lessons with her boyfriend back then, but the relationship failed and she never took the test.

But two weeks ago, after 58 years, she finally did it. Her friend fell ill and she wanted to get a license. After failing two tests, she passed the third and got her driver's license.

This means that if you don't practice and don't try (or just don't practice with the right driving test guide you'll have a very hard time passing.

Hopefully Valerie will enjoy her license.
