Ladies and gentlemen, progress is coming to Africa. The Ghana DVLA announced that a new computer-based theory test will go into effect soon, eliminating the need for the paper exam.
From my experience, this new technology is good news. When I took the theory test I had to wait in line for two hours and the test was conducted on Wednesdays only. Today it runs every day for 11 hours, much cheaper, and there are no waiting time.
